Plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and how to remove it.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you choose to create an account. Used solely to send the magic sign-in link and identify your saved readings. We don’t send marketing email.
- Birth data (date, time, place) — if you sign in and save a profile, this is stored against your account so you can reuse it for future readings. If you generate readings anonymously, this data lives only in your browser and never reaches our server beyond the single request that computed the reading.
- Reading history — for signed-in users, each generated reading is stored against your account so you can review it later. The reading itself is computed locally on our server from the birth data you provided.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We do store the Stripe checkout session ID alongside any paid reading (and, for paid readings, the email Stripe collected — so we can send you your reading and help if something goes wrong).
- Anonymous usage counts — we count events like “a reading was generated” or “a checkout was completed” in our own database so we can tell whether the product works. These counts contain a page path at most — never your identity, IP address, browser fingerprint, or birth data — and nothing is shared with any ad or analytics company.
What we don’t do
- No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics that follow you across sites.
- No selling, sharing, or licensing of your data to anyone.
- No model training. Readings are computed by deterministic math, not AI.
- No emails beyond the sign-in link and (eventually) transactional confirmations.
Where data lives
Accounts, profiles, and saved readings are stored in Supabase (Postgres), in a US-region data center. Payments are processed by Stripe. The site is hosted on Vercel. We also use Upstash (rate limiting — sees request IPs in transit, stores no personal data), Sentry (error reports — configured to strip request contents, so birth data never reaches it), and Resend (transactional email, e.g. your purchase confirmation). That is the complete list of providers that touch any data; none of them may use it for anything else.
Your data, your rights
Saved readings and profiles are kept until you delete them. To export everything we hold about you as a JSON file, sign in and use “Download my data” on your account page. To delete everything, sign in, go to Account, and use the “Delete my account” action. This removes your user record, every saved profile, and every saved reading — immediately and permanently. We don’t keep a backup copy.
