Chaldean System
numerologyAn older alternative: letters take values 1-8 by tradition (9 is treated as 'sacred' and assigned to no letter), so the groupings are non-sequential.
The Chaldean method maps letters by traditional association rather than alphabet order, and reserves 9. It typically gives different numbers than the Pythagorean system for the same name — which is exactly why we show both. Letter values: 1: A I J Q Y - 2: B K R - 3: C G L S - 4: D M T - 5: E H N X - 6: U V W - 7: O Z - 8: F P.
Not: Not more 'authentic' or accurate than Pythagorean. Both are conventions; neither is verifiable.
That two systems give different answers for the same name is the clearest sign these are lenses, not measurements.
